The DRGT in partnership with the Dept of Philosophy conducted the PhD cross-cutting training course in Philosophy of Methods from 12th - 23rd June, 2017. Philosophy of Method is one of the crosscutting courses intended for doctoral students in both humanities and sciences.

On average, over 100 PhD students from Makerere, Kyambogo, Busitema, Gulu and Mbarara University of Science and Technology underwent the tutorship to enable them widen their understanding of science, knowledge and research and to intensify their basic approaches towards research.

In these days, when people talk a lot about science, knowledge, research and accomplish numerous research studies, Philosophy of Method offers doctoral students the appropriate track towards understanding, designing and developing the proper context of their studies and research. The course was conducted in the Senate Conference Hall, Makerere University.
