Project title: “Strengthening Social Science Research for National Development” Project number 313-2014

Category: Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship (2 Positions)

Funding is available to support five (2) post-doctoral staff from Makerere, Kyambogo and Gulu Universities in 2017. Eligibility requirements include:

  1. Possession of a PhD in any Social Sciences discipline obtained in the last three years (0-3 years), and preferably, the applicant should be working or ready to work in any one of the following themes:

    1. a)  Gender, Sexuality and Ethics, and

    2. b)  Livelihoods and Service Delivery

  2. Employed by, or willing to work for, Makerere/Kyambogo/Gulu Universities

  3. Publication in a peer reviewed journal is an added advantage

  4. A statement of motivation and synopsis, i.e. topic, background, problem, objectives, theory and methodology

  5. Female applicants are encouraged to apply
