The Directorate of Research and Graduate Training in collaboration with the School of School of Social Sciences, announces the PhD-Cross-cutting Training Course: i.e. ADVANCED QUALITATIVE DATA ANALYSIS

This course unit is among the required crosscutting courses for PhD students to be knowledgeable in the philosophical underpinnings of qualitative research; have acquired skills of literature search, critical analysis and writing; be able to identify would-be qualitative research problems; be able to call into use of appropriate qualitative research methods of investigating the identified problem(s); appreciate analysis of qualitative data (manually and by use of computer software) and able to explore various ways of writing a qualitative research report.

Applicants should submit their applications with evidence of full admission to the PhD Program. Priority shall be given to those at data collection and analysis phase of their research project. ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS SHALL BE CONTACTED.
